My current body of work explores movement, nature, personal emotion, and an ongoing dialogue with the history of painting.

Drawing from works and artists that have remained significant to me over time, I revisit historical references not as fixed images from the past, but as starting points for new narratives. Through contemporary figurative painting, these references are transformed by personal experience, cultural identity, and the natural environments that surround my practice.

Working in the rainforests of Oxapampa, I continue to explore the relationship between the human figure and its environment, allowing nature, emotion, and art history to intersect within the work.

This is an evolving body of work, with several paintings still in development and not yet exhibited.
