A MOMENT OF LIGHT, oil on canvas, 130cm x 150cm.

She dances playfully with a swan — a moment full of light, motion, and joy. Her expression and movement reflect my own excitement as I prepare for my upcoming solo show. Reaching out her hand, she catches floating four-leaf clovers — a quiet symbol of hope, good fortune, and the feeling that everything is aligning just right.

THE COLORS OF THE QUETZAL, oil on canvas, 125cm x 95cm

Inspired by a magic bird, the golden-necked quetzal, a beautiful bird that reflects the majesty of nature in Oxapampa, where my woodland atelier is located. This place, a paradise for bird specialists from all over the world, hosts an incredible variety of species, and it’s common to encounter their presence in everyday life.

An oil painting in red and green by Daniella Queirolo, inspired by a beautiful and exotic bird. A beautiful girl is dancing with the Gallito de las Rocas or Tinku.

TINKU AND THE GIRL, oil on canvas, 125cm x 95cm

This new painting was inspired by the most beautiful and exotic bird I’ve ever seen. As I turned toward the canvas, I felt excited—but also under pressure. The Gallito de las Rocas, or Tinku, is a very special bird. It wasn’t an easy painting. I wanted to honor its energy, its presence. But sometimes, pressure becomes part of the story. And the result… felt right

THE DANCE OF An oil painting in green and pink colors by Daniella Queirolo. A female figure in motion dances with this beautiful pink bird.

THE DANCE OF THE PARIHUANA, oil painting, 120cm x 90cm

They say the red and white of the Peruvian flag were inspired by the parihuana.
I was inspired by her too — by her quiet strength, her graceful presence, her colors in motion against the green. A symbol of beauty rising from nature.

READY TO FLY, oil on canvas, 120cm x 90cm.

An oil painting by Daniella Queirolo in green shades. It is a reinterpretation of the classic biblical tale. In this rendition, I challenge the traditional narrative by depicting Adam and Eve jointly succumbing to temptation.

THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT, oil on canvas, 180cm x 135cm.

My version of “The Forbidden Fruit” is a reinterpretation of the classic biblical tale. In this rendition, I challenge the traditional narrative by depicting Adam and Eve jointly succumbing to temptation. As Adam lifts Eve, they share in the act of reaching for the forbidden fruit, offering a perspective on the age-old story of creation and challenging gender stereotypes that have historically marginalized women as the sole tempters.

A large-format oil painting by Daniella Queirolo in blue and red colors. The masculine figure embodies nature, embracing and protecting the feminine figure within a wild setting. One wolf feeds from his hand while another wolf

WILD LOVE, oil on canvas, 180cm x 135cm

In this large-format painting, the masculine figure embodies nature, embracing and protecting the feminine figure within a wild setting. The composition creates a circular connection, where each character’s gaze flows to another, visually intertwining all elements. One wolf feeds from his hand, symbolizing the interdependence between humans and nature. Just as everything is connected in the painting, our relationship with the environment is one of reciprocity: nature protects and nourishes us, but it also needs our care to heal and thrive in an increasingly fragile world. In a final gesture, a wolf looks directly at the viewer, inviting them to join this essential collaboration to preserve our shared home.

Surrendered To Nature is a large format paintby Daniella QueiroloA lone woman kneels in complete surrender at the feet of a grayscale man, who embodies dying nature, surrounded by tangled trunks and a fading world painted in shades of blue and green.

SURRENDERED TO NATURE, oil on canvas, 130cm x 150cm.

Here the masculine form stands as Nature—He—in contrast to the traditional portrayal of nature as feminine. He fades into a sorrowful gray, on the verge of death, reflecting His decay and destruction. At His feet, she kneels in pain, embodying the grief of the wildfires ravaging the land in my country in 2024. In the process, I’ve used pieces of nature—leaves and branches—to leave their mark, so that part of this nature remains within the artwork. On a more personal note, this piece speaks to my deep connection with nature. I’ve left everything behind to live in His embrace, to be loved and protected by Him, which makes witnessing His destruction all the more heartbreaking, even if just for a moment.

An Asian woman, symbolizing humanity, feels deeply loved and protected as she is tenderly embraced by her partner, who represents nature, amidst a sea of vibrant, blooming flowers.

LOVED BY NATURE, oil and acrylic on canvas, 150cm x 130cm.

A beautiful Asian woman, the embodiment of humanity, rests in the tender embrace of a male figure—nature itself. Wrapped in a world of blooming flowers and lush greenery, she feels sheltered, seen, and profoundly loved—just as I do in the quiet sanctuary of my atelier.
